DJ Binding
Founder, Director and Licensed Builder
DJ began his building career straight out of High School.
He progressed from apprentice to qualified tradesman to leading hand and then supervisor over the next 20 years, learning and developing all the skill and experiences needed to run his own business.
He then acquired his NSW and Victorian Builders Licences.
DJ is hard working and reliable. DJ understands the importance of building a home to match your lifestyle.
His vast experience along with attention to detail allows him to deliver quality homes and quality extensions.
Kellie Chivell
Office Manager
Kellie began her career in real estate working both within property management, property sales, and sales administration.
Following her 15+ years in the real estate industry, Kellie took on a role in bookkeeping, working for both herself and in an accounting firm, grasping a sound understanding and knowledge of running a business.
After almost 5 years as a bookkeeper the opportunity arose with Binding Building to combine all skill sets learnt within the real estate industry and bookkeeping to assist DJ and the team in all the day to day running's of the business and assist in project management.
Buddy Devlin
Construction Supervisor
Buddy joined the Binding Building team in December 2023 bringing an enthusiastic can do attitude to
all his work.
Buddy left school as soon as he could and jumped straight into an apprenticeship with a local builder.
Gaining a large skill set working within all aspects of carpentry and building, from new homes to renovations and extensions.
Buddy started with Binding Building as a Leading Hand, however proved in the short time with the company how valuable he was on all projects and to the team and was swiftly promoted to Construction Supervisor.
Buddy has a strong eye for detail and passion for producing high quality work, in turn he filters this energy and enthusiasm down to all other team members.
Jacob Csorba
Apprentice Carpenter
Jacob joined the Binding Building team straight out of year 11. After completing work experience with DJ, he was quick to jump on board and sign up as a Binding Building Apprentice.
Jacob has a tremendous work ethic, plus working along side DJ for the past 3 years, has gained his attention to detail and the enthusiasm to produce quality workmanship in all projects.
With only 1 more year left in his apprenticeship, we are eager to see Jacob flourish as a fully qualified carpenter and reach his full potential with the Binding Building Team.
Charlie Hacking
Apprentice Carpenter
Charlie came in to the Binding Building team at the beginning of his 2nd year and showed the team that even in his short time as an apprentice he had been apart of a wide range of projects.
In the almost 12 months since joining the team, Charlie has extended on these skills and has really grasped our expectations on delivery high quality work and attention to detail.
Moving into his 3rd year we can see the potential that Charlie is growing and look forward to seeing him complete his apprenticeship with Binding Building and continue on to Charlie refers to, ‘be the
best carpenter I can be’ within the team.
GREG Binding
Louise Binding
Greg & Louise assisted DJ at start up stages of Binding Building bring 50 years of knowledge & experience in the construction industry & 35 years’ experience in administration, respectively.
With both Greg & Louise’s experience & knowledge in their respected areas they have been a vital part in helping DJ to build the business into what it is today.
Even though now retired still both pop in and offer help and assistance where needed.

The Binding Building story began in 2014 when DJ Binding realised his dream to create his own company. With the assistance of Greg (his father) in the early years, Binding Building has grown and developed an experienced team of tradesmen and an exciting work environment to focus on delivering high-quality builds, with exceptional customer service.
A family-owned builder, with over 75 years’ experience between them, they are well-rounded in both Residential & Commercial construction and employ a mixture of tried methods, as well as new and innovative building trends.
